Android Setup

A dedicated Android app is coming soon. In the meantime, Cirql is fully accessible as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which you can install directly to your home screen for an app-like experience — no app store required.

The steps below are based on the stock Android experience using Google Chrome on a Pixel or similar device running near-stock Android. If your device uses a Samsung, OnePlus, or other customized version of Android, the exact menu names and steps may differ slightly, but the general flow is the same.

Install Cirql to Your Home Screen

Adding Cirql as a PWA gives you a dedicated icon on your home screen, full-screen launch, and a more app-like feel.

Using Google Chrome (Recommended)

1. Open Google Chrome on your Android device.
2. Navigate to the Cirql Web App: https://dev.cirql.social
3. Once the page has loaded, tap the three-dot menu ( ⋮ ) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
4. Look for the option labeled Add to Home screen or Install App and tap it.
5. A dialog will appear asking you to confirm the name. Tap Add or Install to confirm.
6. The Cirql icon will be placed on your home screen. Tap it to launch Cirql just like a native app.

Sign Up for Cirql

Once you’ve added Cirql to your home screen, you’re ready to create your account.

1. On your Android Phone, open the Join link sent to you via email or text message. This will open the Cirql app and take you to the account creation screen.
2. Read and accept the NDA to proceed with account creation.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to create your account.
